The most flattering time is a short window between weeks 27 and 33.
This is when your bump has a natural round shape, your energy is still steady, and your body feels comfortable and balanced.
Most women choose this stage for a calm, unhurried session with space for styling, hair and makeup, and partner involvement if desired. After 36 weeks, most women naturally prefer to rest and focus on preparing for birth.
If you are between 22 and 30 weeks, this is the perfect time to plan your session.

Perfect timing. The ideal window is between weeks 27 and 33. Send me your due date, and I'll be in touch closer to 25 weeks with available dates.

I’m a maternity photographer based in Sydney, working from Tempe studio since 2022. Every session is private and fully one-on-one — a calm space with no overlapping bookings or distractions.
From your first message to your final gallery, I personally handle every part of the process. No coordinators, no outsourcing, no automated replies. This allows me to stay fully present in your experience and in your images — from direction during the shoot to the final edit.

Most clients arrive unsure, and leave glad they did. It’s a short stage of life that passes quickly. The body changes, but the feeling of it doesn’t return. We create a small collection of carefully edited images you’ll come back to for years.
This is one of the most common concerns I hear. By the time we start shooting, most women forget the camera is even there. I guide every pose, adjust light and angles, and gently direct you throughout the session. The studio is private, with one mama at a time. Everything is unhurried, calm, and fully focused on you.
The ideal window is between 27 and 33 weeks, when your bump has a natural shape and you still feel comfortable and energised. I recommend booking by around 22 weeks to secure your preferred date, as sessions within this window are often booked several weeks in advance.
